Book Buyback Program and Policy

The Scholar's Source accepts used books in good condition for cash or store credit in accordance with the following guidelines.

General Terms

• Customers may bring in one medium-sized box or reusable tote bag (approximately 25 books) per visit.

• Books must be free of water damage, odor, excessive wear, or missing pages.

• Children’s board books and children’s paperbacks are accepted for store credit only.

• The store reserves the right to decline any books based on condition, subject matter, or inventory needs.

Compensation

• Accepted books will be evaluated for either cash payment or store credit at the time of assessment.

• Cash offers may be temporarily suspended due to operational requirements, but store credit may still be issued.

• Store credit does not expire and may be applied as follows:

• Up to 100% of the purchase price of used books.

• Up to 50% of the purchase price of new books or other new merchandise.

Additional Policy Information

• All appraisals and offers are final at the time of transaction.

• The store may amend this policy as needed to reflect operational capacity and market conditions.
