Community Classroom Rental

Our community classroom is available to rent for book clubs, workshops, private classes, meetings, birthday parties, and pretty much any group that needs a comfortable, dedicated space. It’s part of what makes The Scholar’s Source more than a bookstore — a real gathering spot for Lake Jackson and the surrounding area.

What You Get

• A private, dedicated classroom space, separate from the main store floor
• Comfortable seating for your group
• Tables and chairs set up ahead of your arrival
• Flexible layout for classes, presentations, discussion circles, or casual hangouts

Rental Rates

• Hourly rate: $40/hour, 2 hour minimum
• Full day rate: $200 (Set up may begin 2 hours before opening; guests may not arrive until the store is open.)
• Public events: FREE — Public, not-for-profit events can be hosted with a $50 refundable deposit.

Booking & Deposits

• Paid rentals require a 50% deposit to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due on arrival
• Free public events require a $50 refundable deposit to hold the room
• We recommend booking as early as possible for popular dates and times
