Established in 2025, The Scholar's Source began with a mission of education and community. Over the past year, we've worked alongside our community and grown to fit the needs we've seen, growing into so much more than a school supply store. We still believe in education, but we've come to believe that learning happens in far more places than a classroom.
We're proud to be the only independent bookstore in the Brazosport area, and Lake Jackson's first bookstore in over a decade.
Since opening, we've added our community classroom, a space in-store where we host classes, workshops, events, and private bookings for the community.
We also formed a partnership with the Artist Alliance of Brazoria County, and began carrying supplies to support our local artists. From there, we started carrying tabletop gaming, including Warhammer, and have grown a community of gamers who gather here regularly.

Hours: 10am–8pm Monday through Saturday, 12pm–6pm Sunday
